Bainskloof: Us and our bikes

We were recently asked to pose as models with our bikes for an agency that specializes in stock photography.

Armed with a flask full of hot tea and coolbag with boiled eggs, bananas and naartjies, we took the trip to the Bainskloof Pass area. This area was chosen for the shoot because of the absolutely majestic mountains and stunning views of nature.

Unfortunately the shoot consisted out of more posing than riding and the photographer had us climb up on very big rocks and pick up our (not so light) bikes for a few minutes at a time.
Although it was a fun filled day, I realised that modelling is not for me. It is very hard work!

 We will be receiving the photos at the end of the month, but here is a sneak peak that was sent to us today.

Although this experience was not completely unenjoyable, I would much rather prefer riding my bike instead of posing next to it!
